A "Listening Party" was thrown at The Montcalm in London, England for david's first L.P., "Castle In The Sky." These photos were taken at that party in 1978.

"Ten To Eight," the first single from the L.P. was charting in the U.K. at that time and david was in Europe promoting the record. castle made television appearances in England and in France, as well as radio performances and interviews.

Russ Regan was the Founder and President of Parachute Records. Russ is well-known for signing recording artist superstars such as Elton John, Neil Diamond, Barry White, Dan Hill, and many others. david castle was the first artist Russ signed to Parachute Records to launch the label in 1977.

Wally Schuster was Executive Vice President of United Artists Music Publishing Group, West Coast at the time this photo was taken. Wally signed david castle as a Staff Songwriter in 1974. Schuster was responsible for pitching castle's songs to many superstar recording artists including Helen Reddy, who recorded castle's story ballad, "Ten To Eight" in 1975 on her "No Way To Treat A Lady" L.P. and The Lettermen, who recorded "If You Feel The Way I Do," (written by david castle and Graham Dee in 1975) on their "Time Is Right" L.P.  "If You Feel The Way I Do" was The Lettermen's last single released on Capitol Records.
